I've just been to the playback of the new album from the LCDMF and it is, quite frankly rather marvelous all round.
Helsinki baggy pop meets the knife meets le tigre meets trance n malcom mclaren. shame i missed em live tonight... gotta do this them there writing n stuff.
Anyway,if you've not heard the single yet... why not? It's fkkin lush. Dancing on a roof in beefa with this belting out as the sun came up has to be one of the true highlights of my summer 2010.
On top of that, there's a rather massive Weatherall mix to download in all it's glory here
There's also another Weatherall mix doing the rounds which is altogether darker in flavour but still of equal lushness. They'll be out on a very limited 500 only run of 12"s at the end of the month... go seek!
